Our Name
Cambodia is a country that is carpeted by lush green rice fields, studded by an abundance of ancient temples, and brimming with warm and welcoming people.
Cambodia also carries some deep rooted customs, cultures and traditions.
One of those deep rooted traditions is the following Cambodian Proverb:
“Women are like white cotton wool,
men are like gold.
When white cotton wool is muddied it can never be washed to the purity
and cleanliness it once had.
Gold, on the other hand, can be cleaned over and over again, always to shine even brighter.”
